Our kitchen team came from the Himalayas and first introduced London, Ontario to authentic Hakka, Thai, Indian and Nepali cooking. Southside Hakka & Momo House brings that same recipe book south of Commissioners Road, so the Highland and White Oaks neighbourhoods finally have momos and Indian-Chinese stir-fries close to home.
Chilli chicken dry or gravy, vegetable and chicken Manchurian, Hakka noodles, fried rice and hot & sour soup sit beside momos served steamed, fried or swimming in spicy jhol — veg, chicken or beef. Everything is wok-fired to order in generous portions meant to be passed around the table.

Great Hakka food in South London. The chilli chicken and fried rice were perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Portion sizes are generous and the staff are very friendly. This has become our go-to spot for quick family dinners.
Tried their momos for the first time and they were fantastic — especially the jhol momos with the spicy sauce. Service was fast even on a busy evening, and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get.
Convenient location just off Wellington Road and close to the 401, which makes it an easy stop on the way home. The menu has lots of options but the Hakka noodles and Manchurian dishes really stand out. Highly recommend for takeout.
Authentic flavours that remind me of home. The hot and sour soup and momos are my favourites, and everything tastes fresh. It’s nice to have a proper Hakka and momo place in this part of the city.
Reliable neighbourhood restaurant with consistently good food. I usually order pineapple fried rice and chicken Manchurian; both are excellent. Parking is easy in the plaza and takeout orders are ready on time.
